Inkjet-printed point-of-care immunoassay on a nanoscale polymer brush enables subpicomolar detection of analytes in blood.
The ELISA is the mainstay for sensitive and quantitative detection of protein analytes. Despite its utility, ELISA is time-consuming, resource-intensive, and infrastructure-dependent, limiting its availability in resource-limited regions. Here, we describe a self-contained immunoassay platform (the "D4 assay") that converts the sandwich immunoassay into a point-of-care test (POCT). The D4 assay...

A paper-based colorimetric biosensor suitable for point-of-care bioassay of blood samples is developed using highly stable enzyme thin-film coatings confined within inkjet printed polymeric microwells. The microwells are developed through a simple one-step inkjet printing of hydrophobic polystyrene on paper, with walls formed by the polymer that fills the gaps inside the paper body. The microwe...

متن کاملWater Fast of Inkjet Print by Using Acrylic /Nano-Silver Ink
A colour ink jet printing with improved water fastness property was produced by using of special component in the ink’s formulation. In this study, the water fastness of ink jet prints which used acrylic/nano-silver resin nano-composite ink instead of conventional resin in ink’s formulation was examined. The nano composite resin was prepared via miniemulsion polymerization of acrylate monomers ...
متن کاملDetection of Polymer Brushes developed via Single Crystal Growth
Single crystals consisting various surface morphologies and epitaxial structures were applied to investigate the effect of other phase regions in the vicinity of a given tethered chains-covered area having a certain molecular weight of amorphous brushes. The designed experiments demonstrated that regardless of the type of surface morphology (patterned and especial mixed-brushes, homo and co...
